The Mediterranean in the Digital Era. The health safety in the migrants’ emergency for the joint development of the coastal populations.

In this conference will be present the E-MedMed project.
The main tasks are:
-to boost the capacity of national health-care system to make health services accessible to the population at large with the use of Telemedicine;
-to increase medical and paramedical professionalism and performance through training and continous;
-to give remote assistance in the delivery of health care;
-to integrate knowledge in the region via the e-Services Mediterranea Platform, linking service users and service providers, as the Italian hospitals and centres of excellence;
-to give assistance during the migrants landing on the Mediterranean shores.
The program has been developed by OCCAM in partnership with:
-IITM (International Institute of Telemedicine);
-Nile Badrawi Foundation for Education and Development in Egypt;
-Tripoli National Diabetes Hospital and the National Centre for Disease Control in Libya;
-Marcoccan Society for Telemedicine and e-Health in Marocco;
-Association for Promoting Pulmonology and Allergology in Tunisia.

In questa conferenza verrà presentato il Progetto E-MedMed.
Gli obiettivi principali sono:
-spingere la capacità del sistema sanitario nazionale a mettere a disposizione servizi sanitari liberamente accessibili alla popolazione attraverso l’utilizzo della Telemedicina;
-migliorare le abilità e attività professionali mediche e paramediche attraverso una buona formazione e post formazione;
-concedere assistenza remota nell’assistenza sanitaria garantita;
-integrare la conoscenza nella zona definita attraverso gli e-Services della Mediterranean Platform, collegando i fruitori e i fornitori dei servizi, come avviene negli ospedali italiani e negli altri centri d’eccellenza;
-dare assistenza durante gli sbarchi sulle coste dell’area Mediterranea.
