The XVII Infopoverty World Conference was successfully held both in New York, UNHQ, Conference Room 12, and in Milan, European Parliament Information Office, Palazzo delle Stelline. It was a fruitful forum, where representatives from many different working fields and countries gathered to discuss the role of ICTs in international development and cooperation and to present the best technological solutions to fight poverty.

The value of this initiative was also officially recognized by Sergio Mattarella, President of the Republic of Italy, who awarded Infopoverty this plate, which we where very honored to receive.
Our staff is now working to issue the final declaration of the XVII Infopoverty World Conference, which will guide us in our future projects, on the way to combat poverty by transferring knowledge and adequate technologies.
